In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces shot dead a Divisional Commander of Hizbul Mujahiddin in the Arnas area of Reasi district of Jammu Division in the wee hours today. Two special police officers of J&K police identified as Mukhtiar Ahmed and Mohd. Ashraf have been injured. The operation was jointly launched by Special Task Force, J&K police and army. The recoveries included one AK-47 rifle, four magazines, 120 round, two mobile phones, one Chinese grenade and Indian currency worth 23,780 rupees. The operation was on when last reports came in.
