The ten day Muharram processions with Tazia’s begin today in remembrance of martyrdom of Imam Husain at Karbala. In Uttar Pradesh, the security arrangements have been beefed up throughout the State especially in sensitive areas. All senior police officers have been asked to take necessary steps to maintain law and order during Tazia processions. According to state DG, total 38 companies of PAC,10 companies of RAF and more than three hundred trainee police officers are put on this special duty.
