The Mughul Road, connecting the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu with Kashmir Valley, will be thrown open to traffic by October this year. This was disclosed by the Minister for Roads and Buildings G M Saroori in Srinagar today.Addressing a high-level meeting of officers Saroori said Mughul Road is being executed on priority basis and the government will not tolerate any slackness in its progress. He said the state government has taken up the construction of various tunnels including Zojilla, Sadhna, Razdan, Chatter galla Sudh Mahadev, Sinthan Vailo and Pir Ki Gali with the Centre.
