The Union Minister Jitendra Singh has said, all the schemes and initiatives taken by present Union Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been primarily focused on youth of the country and Mudra Yojna is one of the key initiatives targeted on enhancing employability of youth. <br/><br/>The Union Minister of state PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances and pension Dr. Singh was addressing a Mudra promotion Programme at SKICC Srinagar today. He said, the Prime Minster from the day one has focused on empowerment of the poorest of the poor. <br/><br/>He said, the steps like financial inclusion Mudra, start up India, demonetisation and introduction of GST will not only transform the economy of the country but will also transform the social value system of the entire nation. <br/><br/>The Minister urged all the institutions and youth of the country to jointly put in their best efforts to contribute to this transformation. <br/><br/>He hoped that youth of J&K who possess plenty of talent and have demonstrated it in national level competitive exams will also take advantage of the schemes like Mudra to become shining entrepreneurs. <br/><br/>The state Finance Minister Dr. Haseeb Drabu also addressed the function and said that Mudra is a distinct initiative of providing credit to the micro entrepreneurs without giving any interest subvention or subsidy. During the function, it was informed that in J&K, one thousand crore rupees have been provided as credit to 41, 000 individuals so far under Mudra scheme. <br/><br/>The Mudra camp at SKICC Srinagar is part of the big Mudra camps being organised all across the country from Sep 27, 2017 to Oct 15, 2017.
