Mubarak trial resumes

In Egypt, the fourth session of the trial of former president Hosni Mubarak was held on Wednesday in Cairo.The Egyptian court is trying Hosni Mubarak over the killing of protesters who ousted him. The court heard more testimonies after police witnesses suggested earlier this week that neither he nor his interior minister gave orders to shoot.According to Egyptian media Al Ahram, Mubarak’s two sons, former interior minister Habib El Adly and six of his top police officers accused of issuing orders to kill protesters during the 25 January Revolution are also facing trail.During last session on 5th September, scuffles were broken out between protesters and police officers outside courtroom.
