Egypt’s State television said that ousted president Hosni Mubarak has been detained for 15 days for questioning after he suffered a heart attack and taken to hospital in Sharm el-Sheikh. It said the ongoing investigation was into allegations of corruption, the wasting of public money, and the abuse of position for personal gain. Former president's two powerful sons have also been taken to custody for 15 days for allegations of corruption and the abuse of their authority. Earlier, Egypt's public prosecutor had ordered ousted President Hosni Mubarak and his sons to be questioned over violence against protesters and alleged corruption.
