<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Food and Civil Supply minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass has said that a target has been set up to procure 10 lakh MT paddy in 2022-23. Talking to newspersons in Guwahati, the minister said that 176 Paddy Procurement Centres have been set up across the state for this purpose. Mr. Dass said, the Kharif Marketing Session has begun today and steps are being taken to mass awareness. The minister said that MSP was enhanced to 2040 rupees per quintal of paddy by the Centre for the benefit of the farmers. He said, six agencies are engaged in the state to buy paddy from the farmers across the state.</span><br />
