The farmers fear that the MSP mechanism would be done away with if the Mandi system comes to an end. However, the Centre has assured farmers that MSP is an administrative decision which is presently there and will remain in the future as well.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The new act aims at creating additional trading opportunities outside the APMC market yards to help farmers get remunerative prices due to additional competition.
