Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Pratap Chandra Sarangi has said that despite diversities, the country has been driven by a common goal of development.
Speaking at an event in Guwahati yesterday, he said that the MSME sector can propel the common goal to facilitate development. He also said that the entrepreneurs associated with food processing, handloom, tea, bamboo, fishery and organic farming hold immense potentiality as value addition to the products from these sectors can create good avenues of industrialization.
Assam Chief Minister Sarbananada Sonowal said that the MSME sector has a crucial role to play in making India a five trillion-dollar economy by 2024.
