Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited- MSEDCL will sell 100 MW power to Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport Company, BEST, after settling issues concerning availability of power in rest of the state.According to MSEDCL release, it is all set to supply power to the BEST at the rate of 3 rupees and 25 paise per unit for the period of April 2014 to March 2015. The MSEDCL claims that there is no electricity shortage in Maharashtra now and it has planned for required power till 2019-2020. It also asserts that nearly 85 per cent of the state is free from load-shedding.
