Renowned film director Mrinal Sen has said that myths unrelated to life and tradition should not be allowed to shape our history. Inaugurating the fourteenth International Film Festival of Kerala at Thiruvananthapuram, he urged the film fraternity to be vigilant against commercial interests of the world of cinema. Minister of state for External Affairs Mr. Shashi Tharoor and eminent actress Sharmila Tagore attended the function.<br/>
