The government has appointed Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Mr Ranjit Sinha as the new Director of Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI for a period of two years. A Home Ministry official said that Mr Sinha, a 1974 batch Bihar Cadre IPS officer will succeed present CBI Director A P Singh who will be retiring on 30th of this month.
