Finance minister Arun Jaitley today said government has no role in National Herald case. Speaking at a function in New Delhi, Mr Jaitley said there is no file on National Herald with the Enforcement Directorate (ED). <br/><br/>He also clarified that transfer of ED Director Rajan S Katoch is not related to National Herald case. Mr Jaitley accused the opposition Congress of holding country's democracy to ransom over the web it created by its own financial transaction in the National Herald case. <br/><br/>He said government has walked an extra mile to explain GST to Congress but their agenda is to paralyse the country. On Congress demand for including GST rate in the Constitutional amendment bill, the finance minister said tariff cannot be written in Constitution.
