MQM observing mourning day today

In Pakistan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, MQM, is observing mourning day today to protest against the killing of innocent civilians in the ongoing ethnic and sectarian violence in Karachi. MQM urged people to hoist black flags and tie black bands in mourning as a protest against killings in the city. Briefing media earlier, Rabita Committee member Raza Haroon announced that members of the Sindh Assembly on Friday would stage a march from Press Club to Chief Minister House. At least 25 people were killed in ethnic and sectarian violence on Thursday in Karachi. With this, the death toll has gone up to 70 in the wave of attacks in the last three days.
