The Lok Sabha on Tuesday witnessed unusual scene when members of ruling as well opposition parties raised the voice to hike their salaries and allowances. <br/><br/>In the post-lunch session, when Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad rose to move a bill related to revision of salaries of High Court and Supreme Court Judges, members cutting across party lines unequivocally raised the issue of their salary hike. <br/><br/>Despite Minister's request to calm down, the MPs continued to press for their demand. <br/><br/>Following this, the Minister said he understands the concerns of the members and has taken note of it. <br/><br/>As the members refused to yield and noisy scene continued, Mr. Prasad said, the MPs are here to run the country and they should not present an image that they will not allow the hike of others until they get.
