In Madhya Pradesh, power tariffs have been hiked by the state power regulatory commission for the year 2011-12. There has been an over all average hike of 6.14 percent in power rates. Rates for all the categories including domestic and agriculture have been increased. The new rates will be applicable from 1st June.
