In Madhya Pradesh, the state cabinet has approved Mukhyamantri Kanya Abhibhavak Pension Yojna for parents who have only daughters. Parents, who are not income tax payers and one of the spouses is 60 years of age or above, will be eligible for this pension. Such parents will be provided 500 rupees per month as pension. This will be in addition to old age pension.
