MP: Shivraj Chauhan, Union Minister Virendra Kumar distribute 8,291 aids and assistive devices to Divyangjans

Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar virtually distributed a total of 8,291 aids and assistive devices valued at 4.32 crore rupees to 4,146 Divyangjans at Block and Panchayat levels on Saturday in a 'Samajik Adhikarita Shivir' at Chhindwara.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan while virtually attending the programme said that with the help of these devices, not only the effect of disability will be reduced, but physical efficiency will be achieved. He said that government is committed for the welfare of Divyagjans and efforts are being made in the state for their skill development also through various training programmes. Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr. Virendra Kumar said that Divyangjans are the integral part of human resource. He said that Ministry is working on the vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' of Prime Minister and has implemented various welfare schemes for developing an inclusive society and empowerment of persons with disabilities.
