Madhya Pradesh registered a growth of thirty two percent in number of houses in last decade. Giving this information today in Bhopal state’s Census Director Sachin Sinha said that there were one crore forty houses in the state in 2001 while this number increased to one crore 85 lakh in 2011 census. Mr. Sinha released Census 2011’s data for Housing, Household Amenities and Assets in the state.According to census data about twenty three percent families are getting drinking water from tap in Madhya Pradesh. The state registered a growth of about twenty six percent in this area. Sixty five percent families are getting electricity as a source of light. About twenty nine percent families have toilets in premises of their house while seventy one percent families don’t have facility of toilet at all. About eighteen percent families are using LPG in the state. Forty six percent families have facility of phone or mobile phone.The state registered a growth of whopping nine hundred twenty percent in use of phone or mobile.
