<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, in the Rabi season 2020-21, record 105 lakh 32 thousand metric tonnes of wheat has been purchased in 28 days against the target of 100 lakh metric tonnes from farmers on support price. This is the first time in the history of Madhya Pradesh that records quantity of wheat have been purchased, while the task was more challenging due to the outbreak of COVID-19.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&quot;Wheat procurement work is still going on in the state, even after the completion of the target. So far, 105 lakh 32 thousand metric tonnes of wheat have been purchased from 14 lakh 16 thousand farmers. A record has also been made for procuring about 5 lakh metric tonnes of wheat in a day.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
