In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has decided to recommend a CBI inquiry into the murder of Bhopal’s RTI activist Shehla Masood. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan issued directives to the Home department officials in this regard. Shehla Masood was found dead in her car on Tuesday. The district police are still clueless about the identity of killers and the motive behind the killing. Social activists, political parties and other sections have also demanded a CBI inquiry into the killing.
