In Madhya Pradesh, the agitation named as “Jal Satyagrah” started by the people affected by the submergence of the Indira Sagar and Omkareshwar reservoirs, continued for the fifteenth day on Sunday. Our Bhopal Correspondent reports that the agitators are demanding land for land and better compensation.AIR correspondent reports that, The agitators are standing in the backwaters of both reservoirs in Ghoghal village of Khandwa district of the state. Two Ministers of the state Government visited the agitation spot as representatives of the Chief Minister. They requested the agitators to call off their agitation for at least two days, during which the state Government wil take some positive decisions with regard to their demands . However, the time stipulated is fast running out without anything tangible so far. Tomorrow will be the the last day for fulfilling the assurance given by the Ministers.
