In Madhya Pradesh, the Anti Terrorist Squad-ATS, today arrested three SIMI terrorists, including the mastermind of the Khandwa jail break incident-Abu Faisal, from Sendhwa area of Badwani district.

The State’s Director General of Police, Nandan Dubey confirmed the arrest of these terrorists. He said that the operation is still on. He said that three pistols and one lakh 35 thousand rupees in cash have been recovered from them.

Our Bhopal correspondent reports that seven SIMI terrorists including Abu Faizal had managed to escape from Khandwa jail on first October this year. One of them was nabbed with the help of residents in Khandwa whereas 6 others were absconding. After the arrest of Abu Faisal, a search is on to nab the five other absconding terrorists.
