MP legislative assembly to discuss terrorist disruption activities

<br/>In Madhya Pradesh, the state legislative assembly will discuss the terrorist disruption activities and organized crime control bill 2010 today. The bill was tabled in the assembly on 18th March. On the lines of MCOCA, the bill proposes stringent laws to deal with terrorist activities. It has provisions for setting up of special courts for hearing of cases related with terrorist activities and death sentence or life imprisonment to guilty in case of death in terrorist activity. After being passed in the state assembly, the bill will be sent to centre for the approval. Earlier state government had sent MP organized crime and disruption activity prevention act to centre in 2007 which was returned by the centre on certain grounds.
