<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, on the second day of visit, a team of Central officials has instructed Indore local administration to strictly implement the lockdown measures. The team reached in Indore yesterday to review the situation caused by the spread of coronavirus infection.<br />'' <br />'' Officials said that the visiting Central team has emphasized the need to undertake coordinated efforts by various departments to tackle the coronavirus outbreak in the district. The team also directed local administration to ensure strict implementation of the lockdown.<br />'' With 18 more people testing positive for the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours , the number of COVID-19 cases in Indore district has gone up to 915, while the death toll stood at 52.<br />'' <br />'' Indore's Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Pravin Jadia informed that 71 people have been discharged from hospitals so far after recovery. As per a government analysis, the mortality rate of COVID-19 patients in Indore district is 5.68 per cent. Another police inspector died due to coronavirus in Indore district today. Last week also, a police officer died in Indore after suffering from the disease.<br />'' <br />'' Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed grief over the police officer's death. While, In Bhopal, two more Bhopal gas tragedy victims succumbed to coronavirus taking the total number of such deaths in the state capital to seven. Earlier this month, five victims of the gas leak had died due to the coronavirus disease.<br />'' <br />'' 27 new patients have been reported in Bhopal yesterday. This has brought the number of patients in Bhopal to 246.
