The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has directed the CBI to initiate an inquiry against former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh and five others in the Indore's Treasure Island Mall' construction case. The court asked the CBI to file its report within six months.

The Economic Offences Wing of Madhya Pradesh had not included Mr. Singh's name in its charge sheet in the case which was latter challenged by the petitioner. It has been alleged that several irregularities were done during the construction of the Mall.
