MP grocery shops, hotels closed in protest against FSA Act

In Madhya Pradesh, most of the retail grocery shops, restaurants and hotels are closed for second consecutive day today to protest against the Food Safety and Standards Act. The three day bandh call was given by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT). In capital Bhopal major grocery markets are closed. People particularly students living in hostels and floating population from cities and villages around are facing hardships in getting eatables and drinks. Passengers at bus stands and railway stations are also facing problems in finding eatables as all nearby restaurants and food stalls are closed.
