In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has decided to set up Deendayal committees at the ward and Panchayat levels to ensure benefits of welfare schemes reach people during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.<br />'' <br />'' Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed this today during an audio conference with state BJP MLAs, district party presidents and mandal chiefs.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, the committees will monitor and ensure various welfare schemes reach people, and their help would also be taken in distribution of government assistance. Chief Minister has also asked leaders to share feedback on various arrangements made by the government during the lockdown.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in Madhya Pradesh rose to 2 thousand 387 so far. The death toll due to virus rose to 120 .Of total deaths due to the pandemic in the state, Indore, the worst-affected district, accounts for 63. It has also had 1 thousand 372 confirmed cases.<br />'' <br />'' The pandemic expanded its footprint to four new districts Burhanpur, Ashoknagar, Shahdol and Rewa. Overall, COVID-19 cases have been reported from 31 districts out of 52 districts so far.The condition of 1 thousand 841 patients is stable while that of 53 was serious and 377 people have recovered till date.<br />''
