MP govt to provide uniform, cycle to students

In Madhya Pradesh, chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that the state government will provide school uniform and bycycle to boy and girl students from next academic session. He was addressing a Karykarta Gaurav Divas rally in Bhopal today that was organized to celebrate his five years as chief minister. At present the state government is providing school uniform to girl students and bicycle to fifth passed girls. Enumerating development works and welfare programmes of his government, Mr. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is now ready to take a big leap ahead. Several senior BJP leaders including L K Adwani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Nitin Gadkari were present in the rally. On the other hand, demanding speedy enquiry in Dumper corruption case involving chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Congress MLAs handed over a memorandum to governor Rameshwar Thakur and courted arrest in Bhopal. Talking to media state Congress president Suresh Pachoury alleged that Mr. Chouhan is influencing the enquiry in dumper case which is not yet completed after the three years.
