In Madhya Pradesh , Government has announced to export wheat to Iran this year from selected districts of the state. Our correspondent reports that the Food Corporation of India will be the nodal agency for the purpose.The Corporation has identified wheat quality for export procured by the farmers on minimum supporting price in the state. Hoshangabad, sehore, Vidisha, Harda, Gwalior, Bhopal, Jabalpur and Ujjain are included for the first phase of export. Totalone lac ninty eight thousand three hundred sixty eight metric tones wheat is to be export to the West Asian country from the state. The state has procured bumper stock of eighty lac six thousand metric tones in this Rabi season from the farmers on supporting price . Several state and center owned agencies were engaged for the procurement to avoid middleman.
