The Supreme Court yesterday ruled that states and universities cannot promote students without holding final year exams by September 30.<br />'' <br />'' Principal Secretary of higher education department Anupam Rajan informed that we have never opposed holding final year examinations like some other states.Shri Rajan further informed that preparations are already underway and we will complete the process and announce results before September 30. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 cases in the state climbed up to 59 thousand 433 after the 1 thousand 252 new cases reported in the past 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh. With 17 patients succumbing to the infection during the day, the death toll rose to 1 thousand 323. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As per the state health bulletin, 943 Coronavirus patients were discharged from the hospitals yesterday taking the number of recovered cases in the state to 45 thousand 396.
