The Madhya Pradesh government on Wednesday roll backed five percent VAT on sugar, clothes and power distribution proposed in its budget for the year 2012-13. State Finance Minister Raghav ji made an announcement in this regard in the state legislative assembly. Opposition Congress and traders were vehemently opposing the proposed tax.
