The Madhya Pradesh government has received nearly 1,000 crore rupees under MNREGA from the Central government. This will accelerate implementation of MNREGA in the state.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, directives have been given to ensure payment of wages to labourers on priority using this amount. At present, about 4 lakh works are underway in the state under MNREGA. Using received amount, early completion of these works will be ensured. The daily wages of unskilled labourers under MNREGA have been increased to 167 rupees in the state from this month.<br/><br/>The government had released a central share of 12,230 crore rupees to the states in connection with the implementation of MGNREGA. Rural Development Minister Birender Singh emphasized that the fund release will take care of the pending wage liability of the states for the previous Financial Year 2015-16 and help the states to run the programme during the new financial year 2016-17.<br/>
