In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has ordered an inquiry against Balaghat Collector Navneet Kothari for allegedly using funds of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Act (MNREGA) to renovate his official quarters. <br/><br/>A high level team would inquire into the allegations. During his recent Bhopal visit, Union Minister of State for Rural Development, Pradeep Jain had alleged that there was rampant corruption in the implementation of MNREGA in Madhya Pradesh and collectors were using funds of this scheme to renovate their official quarters. <br/><br/>He also alleged that Madhya Pradesh government did not utilize 1500 crores meant for MNREGA. <br/><br/>However state panchayat and rural development minister Gopal Bhargav has refuted this allegation.<br/>
