In Madhya Pradesh, the state government has advised people infected with swine flu or having symptoms like swine flu, not to visit Haridwar Mahakumbh as it may cause problems for other devotees. State health department has issued a circular to all the Chief Medical Officers in this regard and asked them to publicize it. State government has made this appeal in compliance to a letter from centre. <br/>
