The Madhya Pradesh government has announced Rs 50 lakh award for the Indian women's cricket team, which finished as runners-up in the Women's Cricket World Cup. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in a tweet yesterday said that the award will be given to the team at a grand ceremony.The Indian women's team lost by nine runs to England in a tense summit clash of the World Cup last night, finishing runners-up for the second time, after 2005 final.
