A large number of farmers, mostly tribals, are heading towards the national capital, seeking land reforms policy. They crossed Morena district headquarter of Chambal region in Madhya Pradesh today. Our Correspondent reports that this march of farmers is likely to reach the border of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh today evening. Our correspondent reports that earlier, agitated farmers and tribals had initiated their march on Gandhi Jayanti on October two from Gwalior district headquarter of the state. They have put forward several demands for land reforms including entry of women in land records treating them as farmers. As per schedule, this march will be reaching New Delhi on the 20th of this month. Several non Government organisations including Rashtriya Ekta Parishad have organised this march to press for their demands.
