MP: Doubling rate of COVID-19 cases improves to 14 days on May 1

In Madhya Pradesh, the number of COVID-19 cases in the state stood at five thousand 236 with 252 deaths. The notable fact is that a total of two thousand 435 people recovered from the viral infection so far.<br />'' <br />'' The rate of doubling of cases in Madhya Pradesh improved from three days on 1st April to 14 days on 1st of May . Currently, the doubling rate of cases stands at 17.2 days. Officials hoping that it will soon improve further to 20 days. On the other hand, the recovery rate stood at 19.03 per cent on 1st of May which has improved to more than 46 per cent on 18th of May. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that we have succeeded in controlling the viral infection in Madhya Pradesh to a great extent.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, with two thousand 565 cases, Indore accounts for nearly half of the total COVID-19 cases in the state. The latest death toll in Indore district stands at 103. The number of Corona-infected people in the capital Bhopal is one thousand 30 while 343 in Ujjain, 182 in Jabalpur, 165 in Khandwa and 152 cases have been reported in Burhanpur. <br />''  <br />
