MP: COVID-19 case count climbs to 19,643 with 638 new infections

In Madhya Pradesh, the COVID-19 case count climbed to 19 thousand 643 with addition of 638 new cases in the last 24 hours. The death toll in the state has now risen to 682. The state has one thousand 868 active containment zones.<br />'' <br />'' A total of 333 persons were discharged from hospitals yesterday taking the number of the recovered cases to 13 thousand 908. Of the 643 fresh cases, the highest count of 93 was reported from Indore district followed by 89 cases in Bhopal and 68 in Morena.<br />'' <br />'' As per the State Health bulletin, the number of cases in Indore, the worst-hit district, rose to five thousand 496 and death toll to 278. The number of cases in Bhopal stood at three thousand 782 including 125 fatalities.<br />'' <br />'' A total of five lakh 40 thousand tests have been conducted in MP so far and the number of positive cases in these tests is 3.4 per cent. No new Coronavirus case was reported from eight districts since yesterday while Panna district did not have any active cases.  <br />
