In Madhya Pradesh, a local court in Bhopal has sentenced six SIMI activists including former national secretary Muneer Deshmukh to three years of rigorous imprisonment on the charge of inciting communal feelings. The accused had put up posters in Bhopal with an intention to create animosity between two communities in October 2000.
