<span style="color: #222222;">In Madhya Pradesh, the commercial tax department has taken major action for evasion of tax on various institutions under GST in the state. During this, bogus transactions of 1150 crore rupees by businessmen were also detected. AIR correspondent reports that &nbsp;business premises belongs to 680 suspected businessmen in different cities of Madhya Pradesh were searched by department during the 29 to 31 July. <br />''<br />''In this investigation, 285 businessmen were found to be bogus and fake transactions of 1150 crore of suspected businessmen were also detected. As per the initial investigation, tax evasion of Rs 183 crore was also found. Registration cancellation and other statutory proceedings are being taken in all bogus cases. <br />''<br />''A tax research analysis wing has also been formed at the headquarters level in the department. Principal Secretary of Commercial Tax department, Manu Shrivastav informed that many persons have registered themselves as businessmen by misusing the online registration facility given to taxpayers under GST. Such persons do not have any business, but they are giving the benefit of input tax credit to the buyers by issuing bogus bill. Strict action is being taken by the department against them.</span><br />
