In Madhya Pradesh, the civic body polls will be held on December 11 and 14 in two-phases. This was announced by the State Election Commission announced today. Model Code of Conduct for Elections has come into force in the state with immediate effect.<br/><br/>The counting of votes will take place on December 15 in those civic bodies where polls will be held on December 11 while on December 17 the votes will be counted of those urban bodies where election will be held on December 14. iN all polls will be held in 13 Municipal Corporations, 64 Municipal Councils and 191 Nagar Panchayats. About 85 lakh electorate will exercise their franchise.
