Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that his government would establish 'Vivekananda Yuva Kendra' in Panchayats and districts across the state. It would also launch a loan-guarantee scheme to engage youths in economic development. Mr. Chouhan made the announcements after his visit to Vivekananda Memorial in Chicago where Vivekananda delivered the famous and historic address at the Parliament of the World Religions in 1893 to tremendous applause. He said that youths of the state would use the platform not only to positively channelise their energy towards personality development; but also help in various other activities like sanitations, literacy and poverty alleviation at the village and district level.
