MP celebrating 66th Independence Day

Madhya Pradesh is also celebrating today the 66th Independence Day . Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unfurled the National Flag at the State level function organized at Motilal Nehru Stadium at the capital Bhopal. He took salute at the parade. In his speech he said that the state government has prepared a roadmap for the progress of the state.

Mr Chouhan also said that use of black money in election was the main reason of corruption,.On this occasion Police Padak , Homegurad, Nagrik Suraksha Padak and Pistol award were also distributed to several security officials for their extraordinary performance.

The Governer Mr Ram Naersh yadav hoisted the tricolour at Rajbhavan and greeted the people. Mr Iswar Das Rohani , Speaker , Madhya Pradesh Vidhansabha, hoisted the national Flag at Jabalpur. State ministers and district collectors were unfurled the national flags in the district headquarters. In Rewa district of the state five days relaxation has been awarded to the prisoners for their good conduct.
