In Madhya Pradesh, the cabinet has decided to constitute Madhya Pradesh Pilgrimage and Fair Authority for proper arrangements of various cultural and religious fairs at different places in the state.The Authority will also carry out responsibilities of development and preservation of cultural traditions of these religious places, their supervision and maintenance.Ujjain's Simhasth Mela will not be covered by the authority.
