MP cabinet passes resolution urging Centre to de-notify 10 NHs

In Madhya Pradesh, the state cabinet passed a resolution urging central government to de-notify 10 national highways passing from the state. The resolution says that the state government will take the responsibility of maintenance and repairing of these roads if they were notified. The resolution passed in a meeting held in Bhopal in the chairmanship of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Tuesday will be sent to centre. The state government had alleged several times that the national highways crossing from the state are not being maintained properly by the central government and their condition is deteriorating day by day.
