In Madhya Pradesh, the ruling BJP has won the elections of Mayoral posts in seven cites, while Congress and BSP in two each and independent in one. BJP bagged mayoral posts in capital Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Burhanpur and Rewa. Congress candidates won in Dewas and Katni While BSP candidates emerged as winners in Satna and Singrouli. In Sagar independent candidate Kamala Bua routed both the BJP and Congress candidates by a margin of 35 thousand votes to emerge as the second eunuch mayor of the state.<br/>
