In Madhya Pradesh, the Anti Terrorist Squad-ATS and Counter Terrorists Cell have arrested four more SIMI operatives. Inspector General of ATS Sanjeev Sami told media in Bhopal today that these arrests were made from Ujjain last night. Our correspondent reports that the ATS has arrested Javed Nagori, Abdul Aziz, Abdul Wahid and Mohd Adil.

About 900 gelatin rods, 600 detonators and about two dozen bombs have recovered from these SIMI operatives.

Earlier ATS had arrested three SIMI operatives including mastermind of Khandwa jail break incident Abu Faisal from Badwani district while two other SIMI operatives were arrested from Maharashtra’s Solapur district.

ATS has said that more information about designs and activities of these SIMI operatives could not be divulged as its operation is still on.
