In Madhya Pradesh, the state assembly today passed a resolution unanimously to restore the membership of two expelled Congress MLA's Choudhry Rakesh Singh and Kalpana Parulekar. State’s legislative affairs minister Narottam Mishra moved a resolution in the house.A one day special session of the state legislative assembly was convened in Bhopal for this purpose. On this occasion, Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said that the Madhya Pradesh state assembly has added a new chapter in Indian parliamentary history.Now the state assembly will send this resolution to the Election Commission of India as it has already notified seats of both the members as vacant. Both the members were not allowed to vote during presidential elections. The membership of Choudhry Rakesh Singh and Kalpana Parulekar was terminated last Wednesday for their unruly behavior in the House .The house had later passed a resolution in this connection during the Monsoon session of the state assembly.
