In Madhya Pradesh, the proceedings of the state legislative assembly were stalled on the second consecutive day today on the issue of the arrest of Congress MLA Kalpana Parulekar.AIR Bhopal correspondent reports that the Question Hour could not take place in the House today. As soon as the proceedings of the House began Congress members again raised the issue of the arrest of their party MLA Kalpana Parulekar while the ruling BJP members strongly objected to it. Due to din in the House Speaker Ishwardas Rohani adjourned the proceedings for an hour. When the House reassembled, Congress members contended that the police in its FIR have mentioned that Kalpana Parulekar has been arrested for her act in the assembly premises. In his ruling the Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said that proceedings of a court could not be discussed in the House. Protesting Speakers ruling Congress members stormed in the well forcing Mr. Rohani to adjourn the House for the day.
